The Problem

Cardigan is an employer branding and internal communications agency, however the immediate impression was that of a marketing communcations company rather than communication strategists. Sales were primarily dependant on referrals from people who know the founders and not necessarily the brand.

The Solution

The immediate goal was to redesign the Cardigan website with the challenges in mind. The first step I took was going through the research provided by Cardigan and then creating wireframes based on their needs which included a place for client logos, testimonials, the ability to book a speaker, and a blog to showcase articles. From there, I created high fidelity protoypes to portray a functional look and feel of the site. Their original colors were white and pink as the main color but based on the research I decided to make navy their primary color with pink as accents to still show they can be professional yet fun. Videos were also used throughout the site to show more of a strategic setting.
